Is ClassHQ a full coaching ERP?
ClassHQ focuses on the daily workflows coaching centers actually use: enquiries, batches, fee follow-ups, attendance, tests and WhatsApp updates. You can start without moving your full accounting or GST records.
Do I need to upload GST, bank or profit data?
No. You can start with basic student and contact details: student name, contact name, phone number, relationship and batch. Fee due dates are optional.
Who can receive WhatsApp updates?
Each student can have one or more contacts — the student themselves, a parent, guardian, sibling, relative or other responsible contact.
Do students or families need to install an app?
No. Core updates such as fee reminders, class changes, homework, attendance alerts and test updates can go directly on WhatsApp.
Do I need my own WhatsApp number?
Not to start. You can begin with an official updates number provided by ClassHQ. Later, you can bring your own number if needed.
How many WhatsApp messages are included?
Every plan includes a monthly allowance of reminders & updates — about 1,000 on Starter, 3,000 on Growth and 8,000 on Pro. The free trial includes 400. Marketing messages are counted separately, and you can top up anytime starting at ₹199.
Can I use ClassHQ if I already use Classplus, Teachmint or another tool?
Yes. You can use ClassHQ as your WhatsApp communication and follow-up layer without replacing your existing teaching or content platform immediately.
Can I start with a small batch?
Yes. Import as many students as you like — there is no cap on records. During the trial, WhatsApp sending reaches up to 50 distinct contacts, so you can test safely with one batch first.
Is there a limit on students or contacts?
No. Paid plans have unlimited students, contacts, enquiries, batches and fee records. Plans differ by monthly message allowance, staff users and features — not by how many students you can manage.
What happens after the trial?
Your data remains safe. WhatsApp sending pauses when the trial ends, and you can upgrade or top up messages to continue. No auto-charge.
Is my students’ data safe?
Yes. Your student and contact data belongs to you and is used only to run your center’s communication and follow-ups. We never sell or share it with other institutes, and you control which contacts receive updates.
Can I export my data if I stop using ClassHQ?
Yes, anytime. Students, contacts, fee records and communication history can be exported — there is no lock-in and your data is never held back.
Are WhatsApp messages sent through the official API?
Yes. ClassHQ sends updates through the official WhatsApp Business API, so messages are compliant, reliable and not at risk of number bans — unlike unofficial bulk-sender tools.
